The proxy server doesn't have internet restrictions, and CC must be able to reach the proxy server port number, such as 8080.
Configuration Steps

Navigate to System > General > Proxy Server to configure the proxy server IP address and port number. You may also configure the authentication if the proxy server is enabled with the authentication. -
Check the Enable proxy server checkbox to ensure the Security database updates traffic via the proxy server.

After configuring, the security database can be updated automatically via the proxy server.
Precaution
-
The proxy server must be able to access the internet without issue.
-
You may refer to the CC domain usage guide to refer to the domain required to be allowed on the outgoing firewall to let the CC device access the internet without issue. The domain will be constantly updated; kindly refer to the latest guide to allow the port.
-
CC must be able to access the proxy server without issue. You may click Test Validity to test the validity on the proxy server and check whether there is any restriction on the CC or proxy server sides.
